Oh what fun!! I can't wait to see who wins this. :D

Hmmm...if I was a betting person, my money would be on Ken.

I think it will be one of the smaller sellers. Sellers with a large inventory tend not to list items one at a time, they use the bulk uploader or the importer.

I havent been doing much listing on AM lately as I am distancing myself from that end of the business. I buy the product, give it to my sister and she takes the pictures and does listing. I already let her know that she gets the money to herself if she wins. Hopefully this will motivate her to list faster. She works fulltime so I know it isnt easy for her. She likes to use the bulk uploader though. I have always been partial to doing it the old fashioned way, one at a time.

Why wait until 999,500 to stop the importing and the bulk lister? It is cutting it kinda close. Number 997,000 seems like a better time to cease those kinda listings for a day or 2.

Great contest. Any word on the sidewalk sale?

#1, I'd like to leverage the contest publicity to attract the maximum number of new signups. If registration closes with several thousand to go, we'd likely lose quite a few of those new accounts that may have otherwise registered at the last minute.

#2, I want to keep the transport and bulk upload shutdown as short as possible because we have several members who rely on those methods to post, and keeping them offline for an extended period could disrupt their business.

Great contest. Any word on the sidewalk sale?

Thanks! And yes, that's the next big project. The date will be Saturday April 24 thru Monday April 26th. This time there will be a signup form similar to the Listing contest form. Details will post here in the next few days.

If you would like to take part in our contest and haven't yet registered, now would be a good time! It's getting down to the wire.
